John received his B.A. in Theology from Olivet Nazarene University; he has served the church in the role of pastor for over 20 years. Since 2002, he has also worked along side his spouse Jeanette in private practice as a pastoral counselor.
John received his clinical counseling experience providing interventions to individuals with major mental illness on a Community Support Team with the Janet Wattles center (now Rosecrance) of Rockford, IL and while serving as a counselor on staff at Living Well under licensed clinical supervision.
John specializes in marriage and family relationships counseling. He especially enjoys helping people discover, develop and utilize their unique skills and abilities finding purpose and meaning in life.
From 2005 to present John serves as lead pastor of the Living Well and Lost Lake Church Churches of the Nazarene in Dixon IL.
John is an active learner, is a licensed Barber and enjoys outdoor sports including bicycling, hunting and fishing.
